Collection setup recommendations

Configure fields for:

  • Title
  • Slug
  • Body content
  • Summary/excerpt
  • Tags/category (if used)
  • Publish/status fields

Matching schema reduces publishing errors.

Common issues

Missing permission

  • Token does not have CMS write scope.

Invalid collection mapping

  • Selected collection lacks expected fields or uses incompatible field types.

Publish succeeds but content appears wrong

  • Recheck field mapping and rich text/body target fields.

Security tips

  • Use dedicated tokens for each environment/site.
  • Rotate/revoke tokens when no longer needed.
